How to Measure Your Swimwear Size Correctly

Most sizing mistakes come from measuring in a hurry or in the wrong place. A few careful minutes will save you a return and ensure your swimwear fits beautifully from the very first wear.

Measure on bare skin

Always measure directly on your skin or over thin underwear, never over clothes. Bulky fabric adds centimetres that throw off your size.

Keep the tape level

A tape that slants will give you a larger, inaccurate number. Use a mirror to check that it stays parallel to the floor all the way around your body.

Note the time of day

Our bodies change subtly through the day. For the most representative numbers, measure in the morning and avoid measuring straight after a large meal.

Write everything down

• Bust, underbust and hips in centimetres.
• Which size each measurement suggests on our chart.
• Whether you prefer a snug or relaxed fit.
